I think its just another way for schools to make you waste your hard earned cash on caps and gowns (those can cost like $25!!) and photos, not to mention a waste of time that you could be spending with your family, not with a hundred other families. Sure, their little signing is cute, but shoots, have a choir concert, not a wasteful graduation. They are 5, they are not going to care about a graduation and are probably getting bored waiting for you to call their name so they can get their little certificate that isn't going to be looked at by any college, university, or future job. "Oh, you don't have your kindergarten graduation certificate??!? I'm sorry, we only accept kindergarten graduates at this establishment." PSSHH!Ok, that is all. KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!!! *Shaking my head. NOW that is all.
We no longer have kinder graduation at my school (I happen to be a kindergarten teacher, by the way). But when we did, we made our own caps out of cardboard and yarn, no gowns and no professional shoots. One of our office workers would take a keepsake picture, though. It used to be nice, but when it started become an after thought, then it was no longer worth doing (since it wasn't done right). But just so you know, those kids deserve celebration. Yes, you keep moving up a grade each year, and much is learned at each grade level. But you see the most growth in kindergarten, where kids come in not so independent, most not reading or writing yet and they end the year as much more independent, readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists.

Deletehello, well your position is quite lame i think every parent want this kind of manifestations whit his soons because i is a small achievement, because we need encorage this small persons into good, thats why we made a presentation from the sunbeans kids during one of the sacramental meetings on lds church, to show they that they are very important,thats why bishop give to the laidys of the church a congratulation for complet they course of small lady, and show everybody tht they are worthy to the lord because they are keeping a good beheivor, if we finish all this this persons grow up whit lack stimulus, that shows thatr we olders, we dont spect nothing from they!!!!!!fancy and costly demostrations are not necessary..... but show interest is always necessary. wladimir torregroza beltran
